Look, I know people are not particularly interested in my vacation photos, so rather than typing up little personal observations, historic backstory, my own thoughts and emotions upon interacting with thousands of years of history and great works of art, critiquing the current culture and its fashion sense, relating the heartwarming stories of all the dogs I met, recalling locals that I met with whom I struck up a conversation and learned a more intimate insight into everyday life- (okay, most of the people I interacted with were the owners of all those dogs I was petting, and I felt that it would be awkward not to talk to them while I did it.)- or indulgently going on about my amazing family, I am just going to show the rest of the really good photos of London and Windsor Castle and some stuff without all the annoying words.

Until we get to the Cotswolds, then all bets are off.

Where’s Arthur… a geographical mystery game… in which you try to figure out where I have been, using subtle hints hidden within photos I took while I was there… part 1…

Red phonebooths, fancy big clocks, black taxis, posh neighborhoods. But they have those everywhere! Ferris wheels and statues, churches and buses. These are not real clues! Shopping and weddings and overly-fancy government buildings. This could be literally anywhere.

Okay, I didn’t really get that close to her. But I have seen her and the Royal Family. It was on her birthday, and as you can see, her husband was still alive. As was she, obviously. It was an … Continue reading
