Well, that one is just for fun…

Well, that one is just for fun…

Yes, this could be considered a subtle warning against global climate change. But what I like is that, for one brief moment, the reflections of the heads in the water look almost like the faces of two Cheetahs…
Also, I have a special surprise coming in the next post… I did something funny with this image.

I shot these photos from the deck of my mom’s house.

I love that the small town where I grew up, in the hills just North of Berkeley, is so full of animals.

So far we have seen the possum, the raccoons, and now, some deer.

I also saw some wild turkeys, but I didn’t have the camera ready.

Throw in all the squirrels and birds, and you have quite a menagerie.

Not everybody likes the deer. They eat peoples’ plants.

They don’t eat that regular grass and forest debris. They are the yuppie foodie deer.

I might as well throw in a couple pictures of last night’s sunset.

Piggly wiggly!!!

Lap lap lap lap lap lap lap lap lap lap…

Still visiting my mom in the Bay Area. I found these weird flowers when I took her to a classical music concert in Berkeley yesterday.

And of course I am still taking pictures of the sunsets from her deck and backyard.

I took the flower pictures with my phone. They could be better.

But you work with what you have… speaking of which, I said I was going to start posting a few chapters of two of my novels I am working on… but when I went to open the Word docs, I found out my license had expired on my version. I am working on that. But all my tech support people are back in San Diego.

Is it just me, or do these look like they were grafted together from a bunch of different flowers?

Maybe the sunset is a combination of sunsets too… HA!

Anyway, I have a lot going on.

So I will see you around.

I love this effect. The animals stand perfectly still, but their reflections don’t. Also, stripes look cool in the water…
