When I did this picture originally, almost a year ago, just near the end of the primaries, it seemed funny, like the republican party was destroying itself. Now, it seems almost prophetic… like Trump has initiated an endless circle of racism and sexism and hatred that will keep feeding on itself and getting stronger.

That’s cast rather a pall of gloom over the evening, hasn’t it?
