So, here’s what is happening in my life right now… in between being disgusted by Donald Trump and doing funny posts about eyeballs… The weather has been weird. I took these pictures from my mother-in-law’s little garden last night, as we waited for the debate to begin. We are still living there as the renovations on our house are proceeding.

I can’t remember if I mentioned that just a few days after we moved in, my  mother-in-law’s refrigerator stopped working. Well it did. So we spent a few days with all our food in coolers… which was a pain, because we had just moved the food out of the coolers from when we moved in. Then, the new fridge didn’t cool down… so, back in the coolers went the food. A day or two later, the new fridge was in, so we re-re-unpacked the food.

Then, a day later, her coffee maker stopped working. We began to joke about a curse, and I teased her about what appliance would stop working next… which was hilarious… until this morning… when I was making lunch for Mollie… and suds started bubbling out of the bottom of her dishwasher. But that isn’t all. The owners of her condos put up signs a week ago, saying that all the people living in the condo complex had to be out by 7:00 this morning… until 10:00 tomorrow morning, because the parking and driving areas were all being resurfaced with fresh tar.

So I am doing this post in the courtyard of a hotel. The thing is… (you knew there would be a thing, didn’t you?)… that, when we got to the hotel this morning, the front parking lot was closed… because they were resurfacing with fresh tar.

On top of all that, we had a visit from the edge of a tropical hurricane, with lots of rain… which we need… and high temperatures… and now it is just stinkin’ hot and steamy. But the clouds are nice… and just so you know…

…my mother-in-law’s neighbor’s dildo tree cactus is doing splendidly!
