You know presents on TV are always wrapped like that – with the lid wrapped separate from the box itself. I have never wrapped a present that way and have never seen a present wrapped that way. I was trying to get some cooked corncobs into margarine containers tonight for storage and I had the same problem – they stuck out of the top just like your head is sticking out of the box. My suggestion is to cut off more of the neck so the head slides further into the box. I broke the cobs in two – that helped too. Perhaps if your head was in two pieces …
You can buy those boxes like that here. They are just covered with wrapping paper like a coating. The lid lifts off.

It’s a thing
You remind me of a joke of some friends I used to hang out with. It was a joke they had made up years before they met me,so I don’t know if I will convey it correctly. I write it phonetically: “I know Aht. Dat’s Aht.” They would occasionally continue, “Me and Aht, we used to go out for drinks togeddah,” but “I know Aht,” was the gist of the jest.
I don’t even know if I get it and I still like it…
