It is safe to assume that a cute baby will still be cute with a beard, but it won’t make the baby any cuter…
A beautiful woman won’t be helped by a beard unless she longs for a career in the circus…
A cow… or almost any other animal… would just look silly with a beard…
And so would most inanimate objects.
A quick note to hipsters; I am not judging you or casting aspersions on you fashion choices, but I will say the same thing to you that I say to those young guys who wear their pants down below their butts or to people with too many… (or really bad)… tattoos and body piercings. Trying to express your individuality by doing the same thing that hundreds of thousands of other people are doing is ironic at best and a little bit sad at worst…
Don’t do the ‘in’ thing… come up with the next thing.

Those caught in the middle of the conformity, peer approval thing are always blind to the truth. Thank God in my day it was just long hair–like the Beatles. I shudder to think what the next trend will be.

Love that last comment about hipsters. I know too many people who are fighting for their individuality – in fact, most of my friendship group are those type of people – but, at the end of the day, they get lost in the crowd of other people fighting for their individuality, therefore completing nothing.
