I mean, just consider the fact that this post, while ostensibly posing as just another post in our ongoing series where I take pictures from my old blog posts that have some Art… me… in them and then you come up with clever names for each piece…

… is already number 91 of this series…

… and that many of these post… like this one, for example… have more than one picture with me in it in it… if you see what I mean…

I mean, does this seem weird to anybody besides me??? There has to be something dark going on inside my head…

I know I joke that to be an artist requires an immense ego… but surely this is well past that now… a sign of something deeply troubling…

Can a person this self-obsessed ignore the ‘obsession’ part of that punch line? surely anyone who pretends to have such a high opinion of themselves must be covering something up.

Is this all just a desperate scream for attention?

Nope.

I am just complex.

I am shy but I am also outgoing and you can’t shut me up once I know you.

I love people but they kind of drive me crazy.

I am pompous and conceited while at the same time I am quite aware of my faults and weaknesses and shortcomings.

I am both proud and ashamed of many aspects of my own nature.

In short, I am human… we all wear the masks… we all put on the act, the show… we all wrestle with our own flaws and cover them up in our own ways. We all battle out own demons. My way just happens to involve Photoshop and a head full of crack squirrels. HA!!!!!

Now name some of these, if you want to. They are really just Photoshop filters trying to be art, but I love them anyway… because they have my handsome face in them.
