Breaking News…

Bullshit really does cause insanity!

A stenographer went a little bit nuts in the House of Representatives just as they were passing the government funding and debt limit deal. She started shouting into a microphone about how God would not be mocked, something about Freemasons, and how a house divided will not stand… which is a pretty good joke if you ask me… and then she was escorted out of the chamber by security staff.

According to all reports, this woman has never had a history of this type of behavior. I can only assume that she was put through a fairly extensive background check to work there. So let’s stop and think about this for a moment, shall we?

All day long this poor woman had to sit and listen to these pompous Congressional windbags spewing forth interminable mounds of bullshit. She couldn’t just pretend to listen because she had to type the words into the official record. Day after day this went on. I can only imagine what foul and fetid piles of cow crap were being dished out over the last few weeks. Is it really any wonder that she cracked under the pressure?

We desperately need term limits, 1 term for senators and 3 for reps. Districts need to be redrawn to reflect the diversity in this country and every person in Congress right now needs to be voted out. Additionally, pay increases should be the same as the social security increases. If Social Security http://www.socialsecurity.gov/cola/automatic-cola.htm recipients do not receive a COLA bump Congress doesn’t get a pay increase. Let’s put the service back in public service.

Okay. I saw it. I know had it been me, I might have done the same by now. She is probably in a position to hear and know things we do not. The bs factor may have finally taken its toll. How long do you listen to those people pontificate and profess to be operating in the interest of the electorate when according to Robert Reich, 1% of the electorate own more than 35% of this nations wealth. One man, one vote is true, but who chooses the wo/man we vote for. Where do they get the money to launch and sustain a campaign. Who pays for the golf outings, fact-finding missions, hunting trips and the speaking engagements? Who lends out their summer place, winter place, and other place to our elected officials? Do our men and women who risk their lives for our liberty have has a strong a retirement or medical plan as the people who fund them and send them to war? Does the vast population of the electorate have such comprehensive benefits. Members of congress earn more than 95% of the country, but they know “how hard it is on the working class.” I doubt 95% of them know the price of milk, bread, eggs and gasoline in their resident state home town.

She may or may not have emotional issues, but it’s damn sure she has an issue with Congress. If she is like me, she feels no one in representing her. they don’t listen to or want to hear our problem other than to sympathize as we reach for our wallet during campaign time. My senator is VERY powerful. No doubt he gets a lot of money directed toward our state and we certainly need it, but I can’t wait to see his obstructionist ass kicked out the door. Who speaks for us. She took a shot anyway. Her words obscured her message unfortunately, which was they should all be ashamed and get the hell out of Dodge. You might correctly surmise I am more than a little pissed, but that makes me a member of a pretty bit club right now.

Ha! I watched this. Quite an event. Well, some of us go over the edge gently, some do it in front of the whole country. Six of one half… fuck I don’t know how the rest of that goes. Ooops, I said six.

Must not overlook the Freemason angle.

I’ll wait to see this vetted first before commenting.

  10. Well it was inappropiate however you have a good point about her possible breaking point. But there is more than one stenographer. She should have told them she wasn’t able to handle any outcome, whatever that may have been. I am concerned about her bringing God into it. I do hope she sees someone soon. She is not stable. Peace, Barbara

I hope you’re joking… but strangely enough there is some hint of truth to this story. I would definitely go mad in such a situation. Also, I think that’s why crack squirrels came to be known as crack squirrels.
