So when I was still at my mom’s house, I was teasing you about something else that we did that was really cool that I couldn’t tell you about until we got home… you know, for security reasons so Ed Hotspur and Mooselicker wouldn’t break into my house and steal all my tikis…
But now that I am back, it is time to spill the beans. We went to San Francisco and saw Big Johnny and Eva… and WILLIE! And big Johnny happens to have one of the coolest jobs in the world. At this place…
Or at least he will work there until later this month, when the evil Disney corporation, who bought the place, finish shutting the whole thing down. Bad Disney. But we got to go inside. We had to get security badges, and promise not to take any pictures except in the lobby and a few hallways. Which sucks for you. But this place is like top secret, so, sorry. They are not open to the public at all. You have to know someone.
But we got to meet this guy…
And he was really nice… not what you would expect at all…
We also met this guy…
But he was a real jerk. I just took as many pictures as I could where I was allowed to.
And there was some pretty cool stuff…
And it was a really fun day…
Is it just me, or is Han Solo’s blaster just a German Mauser pistol without the long clip and with a few extra pieces glued on it?

I saw a star wars exhibit at the Smithsonian that had a whole bunch of props and so on from teh movies.
This trip looks cooler.
I bet most places get the backup props. These were all the real deal.
I think teh exhibit was The Myth and Magic of Star Wars. Many of the props had cards explaining what they were used for – which scenes/movies.
Seeing the Millenium Falcon up close was worth the price of admission..
We saw some cool stuff… but I can’t talk about it… or Goofy and Mickey will kill me…

Just to destroy it after getting the rights to all the stuff. I sense a new theme park coming.
I bet you’re right about the theme park. Poor Walt is rolling over in his grave, about the percentage of pricks who work for him. 😎
They can build it in the parking lot, like they did with California adventure… instead of in the back of the actual Disneyland. So we can park farther away and spend more money.
