How does this sound?

I need some more advice. After a few frustrating delays, the novel is back on track. But now I need to come up with the best name for the enitre series. So I decided to seek the help of the most creative people on the planet: Bloggers.

Here are the ideas I have been bouncing around in my cranium. If you don’t like the sound of any of them, feel free to come up with your own ideas.

Alernity.

The Center Of Many Universes.

Between Realities.

The Otherwhere Chronicles.

Otherwhere Stories.

Tales Of Many Realities.

The Center Of Many Realities.

The Crossroads Of Reality.

The Reality Gate.

The Gate In The Sky.

The Adventures Of Arthur Blacke.

Any title using the word “gelatinous”….my favorite word.

Otherwise I liked “Crossroads of Reality”…escapism aside

What if you made reality, subreality? Crossroads of Subreality, Underneath the Veil.

    I do like Maddy’s idea of a sub-title…..

If you go with The Crossroads of Reality, Do you need the word “The”? Say it out loud both ways. I feel like without “the” I’m putting myself there….absolutely a personal preference…..

  2. Otherwhere Chronicles is crying “pick me..pick me!”

    Otherwhere Chronicles.

Otherwhere chronicles stood out straight away for me. Couple of others sound like it could be a self help book, or something set up by a cult.

Ummmm, The Otherwhere Chronicles of Arthur Blacke?

  6. I like the Adventures of Arthur Blacke, but with a sub-title for each volume. If you’ve got something with humor / satire then longer titles really seem to bring that out, almost a good opening line itself on the cover.

    TRans-Universal Express

    + suggestion: Reality Junction

Honest opinions: they all suck, except The Otherwhere Chronicles. That got my attention. What does it mean, otherwhere? Is that a place not here? Is it a question?

No one reads books that somehow remind them of reality, they read books to get away from reality, so ditch that word in any title and remove from your entire manuscript. Plus your novel is great escapist fun, let the readers have their day in your unreality.

You could at least include some flamed-up beavers like attack ships on fire off the shores of Orion… or something. I just stole that. Except the flaming beavers. Fucking rodents. Excuse my language. Fucking language.

  11. The Adventures of Arthur Blacke — but it might need a sub-title to give a prospective buyer an idea as to what is inside beyond your cover art.

    The Adventures of Arthur Blacke
A wild and crazy ride through the galaxies

Not *that* sub-title, but sub-titles work well if you can come up with a good one.

  12. Art, help me out here. I did a quick scan/search of your archives and can’t find the synopsis. Is this The Saloon at the Edge of Nowhere? Or is this another book? Do you have the blurb to help me vote on the title?

My favorites are: the Otherwhere Chronicles & The Crossroads of Reality 🙂

The Adventures of Arthur Blacke. For something with so many characters I think it’s valuable to have a proper noun in the title. Does the thing take place in an alternate universe? If it does you could call it something like “The Alternative Universe Tales” but of course using the name of the alternate universe rather than the actual words.

  15. I like the Crossroads of Reality. Just one opinion.
