We went over to San Francisco and met up with Willie and John and Eva for lunch…
There… that picture ought to warm the cockles of your heart even if you are still snowbound. We had lunch at a nice little noodle place on Haight Street.
Later today I will post some pictures of this delightful and oh-so-Bay Area area. Because San Francisco has a unique culture that is not quite like any other place on the planet.
Willie was glad to see us. He likes me, but he is crazy about Mollie…
Somehow that picture doesn’t capture his love for Mollie quite as well as I hoped it would. He seems more worried about why I am pointing a little box with a flashing light at him. Even John seems to be keeping his eye on me. What’s up with that?
But Willie was a big help when it came time to help Mollie decide what she should order for lunch.
And then it was time for a little wandering and window shopping. I hope you return this afternoon for the rest of the pictures. There are things about the Bay Area that would be impossible to explain to people who have never been there. Even with pictures I doubt I can convey how diverse and interesting just this one small part of the Bay Area really is. You will just have to visit someday to see what it is all about.

Mollie is looking very grown up.
Willie!
Yeah she is… and yeah he is…
It’s like you were a grandfather for a little bit.
That’s funny, because my friend Andy just became one of those.

or in Northern Canada…

Great pics.
Thanks.
Although, have you ever considered that a phrase basically saying, “I went to san francisco, let me show you pictures of willie”, may bring in a crowd expecting something different?
I don’t care. I am the guy who throws ‘free porn’ tags into random posts. I even sort of did that on purpose… like the Dick Cheney Photoshop picture posts that I called ‘That’s a strange place to stick a Dick’. I am just that shameless.
Kinda figured, though I think this is my favorite you’ve done as it’s more subtle and a larger contrast between completely innocent and horribly wrong.
I do subtle now and then…
