I have been working on a new song video all morning. I am getting ready to post it if it works. Once again I have reverted back to using still pictures rather than do an actual video, but if you watch it you will see that it makes sense with this song.

It is called ‘Walls Of Stone’. I am very proud of the lyrics, maybe my best ever in a song. I wrote it quite a few years ago, but I think it holds up. I added the lyrics to the pictures so you can sing along.

I don’t put messages in all my songs. They are just about love or loss or whatever the song is about. But this song obviously has a deeper meaning, about the way we keep people at arm’s length and build walls to protect our hearts.

This is another song where there are two tracks of me playing the guitar and two of me singing. I am still having trouble doing the harmony to songs I am so used to singing the lead on, but there are parts that sound good. At least I think I got the volume up higher this time.

Oh, and if my digital recorder worked at band practice, and I can get the songs here on the computer, you can hear some recordings of my band practicing by next week.
