I see Conan’s prepared to deal with any shark that swims by, and he’s even got his dinner plate handy. Smart guy.
Just cause Arnold played him dumb. In the books he speaks and reads many languages, and traveled the world.
i love the ‘celebrities’ tag…..i’ve not taken note of the tags people use for a while, i fear i’ve missed out on stuff and that…..

All time is wasted… or none of it is… it just depends how you look at it. I always say that any day you play with a baby and/or pet a large mammal is not a wasted day.
how large is large? i have a very fat neighbour; should i go pet him if i begin to worry that my day is beginning to look wasted?
I prefer horses, but do what you got to do. Dolphins are way better though.
there are no dolphins in my village….but horses are abound…..and i’ve just remembered i have a baby……i think i might be ok…..

As I clearly state in an early Conan post, we all have a little barbarian inside of us.
But…. we are confused…. mine is bohemian, not barbarian. And I have a whole lotta Bohemian inside of me…

well I have never seen it emerge.. I think you could be wrong about me.
What does barbarian look like when it is not Conan cause I sure as …. oops…. I mean have never looked like that before. Besides my feet are much too small. And my hair is longer.
Barbarian is that little voice inside you that tells you, when you are young, to jump in and save a kid getting beaten up by bullies even though you will end up getting your ass kicked. It is the voice that tells you to tell your obnoxious boss to take this job and shove it. Or to move to a new city. Or take a risk in life or love. Do something new and crazy. It isn’t always there. Well, it was for me when I was young, and I am lucky to be alive. But listen for it.
For the 1st time in my life ai think I crave a little barbarian in my life. Who knew? I meant that is besides you?
This is the voice inside that says; “Go ahead, take a lttle risk..”

The thing about society and civilization is that it spends a lot of energy trying to get us to cover up our inner barbarian. This suppresion not only stifles our creative abilities, it drives men crazy and makes them violent because they are never expressing themselves in little ways. It is much better to be a little barbaric all the time than to hold it in and get really barbaric when the steam builds up.

I have a long and confusing history with SD. Long story short, my wife grew up here.
I had to cut down on risk taking when the kids were born, but it still pops up now and then. Did you see the last Conan post yet?
