They are taking the world by storm.
In track and field, old records are being shattered, and, just for the record, new records are being set at a record rate.
Just because of my brilliant idea to include tigers…
So far the response from the athletes has been very positive on our trial runs… except the comments from those who were mauled, of course… those weren’t really very positive at all… but you can’t please everyone. And the tigers seem to be enjoying themselves…
The London crowds are all a-twitter. As I stand outside the arena, I can hear them screaming their excitement. Wow, there is really quite a lot of screaming…
Well, I poked my head into the stadium, and it turns out that the reason for some of that screaming was not the pure joy of watching a new Olympic event being born. I should have made the fences that separated the athletes from the spectators just a little bit taller. Oh well, any new sport is bound to have some… ummm… teething problems.
