A last word on that wonderful wedding… sort of…

I mentioned that I like to take early morning adventure walks when I am traveling. I took one on our last morning at the rustic resort. I got up before the sun and walked in a direction that was less traveled. I found a little trail leading to the river…

And then I kept going when the trail ended…

And as the sun rose, I found myself in a secluded spot that is exactly what I look for on these walks…

There is just something about being somewhere you have to work to get to. Where most people don’t bother to go…

And just to finish off the wedding theme and clear one more picture from my phone, here is a picture of the groom, Big Johnny, taken about a year ago. He is holding a tiki I carved for him. Oh, my isn’t he a handsome fellow…

  1. Love the river shots. I can imagine how peaceful it was — nothing but the sound of your footsteps, birds tweeting and the flowing water. Nice.
