I know that should be Mollie and I, but I thought it sounded better as a title.
We are still at Grandma’s house. We are having some quality time. At 13, she is still young enough to think I am totally cool… how totally cool is that? We are doing some reading. We are doing a puzzle. We are going to go to the used book stores later, after we visit the memorial tree of my dearly departed friend John Suillivan. Remind me to tell you about him later.
I am taking lots of pictures with my cell phone, of the places I knew as a child and a rebellious teenager. When I get home, you may well have to put up with about a whole week of pictures and stories between the wedding and the rest of it. But I will try to make it interesting in my usual strange fashion.
Did I mention that Mollie has been reading at a college level since she was 11? Sort of hard not to be proud of that…

Photos. Puzzles. Reading. Book stores. Sharing the honoring of a dear friend with your daughter. Priceless.
You done all the right stuff.
I am still doing it. Thanks.
Thank heaven Mollie is there to keep you from drifting too far off. It’s cool that she is a reader.
My kids got their mom’s logic and my art and love of reading… and my long, gorgeous legs.
And they’re pretty like their mom.
They look just like me, just so you know…
Everything wonderful about them can’t be from you. You’re going to have to concede on something.
Their math and logic skills are all from mom.
A college level? I hate to break it to you but I know a college kid who spells “plus” with an “e” at the end. Maybe your west coast schools have higher standards.
Maybe your friend is English… they like to put ‘e’ on the end of everything, just to be fancy…
Puerto Rican actually. Is that in England?
I am sure it was part of their super empire once. Mollie reads at a test level of a college student, not the actual level of a college student, which is far lower, since they can’t find Europe on a freekin map…

That too.
I love the name Mollie! 🙂 I bet you are proud of that little girl… ❤ I would be too. Have fun with the fam!
Thanks, and yes, my girls rock…
Well, with a name like Mollie, what’s NOT to like?!?
I love that name.
Funny, because I do tooooooo! Always have ;o)
She looks like a Mollie. I gave her that name the second she was born… My big problem naming the girls was that I couldn’t give them names of any girl I ever dated… so that left Jessica, Mollie, and some German names like Brunhilda and Gertrude…
