Pouring My Art Out

See, the thing is… and this is a thing that might actually be more than one thing… but that ugly picture I posted earlier… the one on the right in the picture above… is made by combining an ink and colored picture I did of an old photo of myself with a famous painting.

The other thing is… and this isn’t one of my things, it is just an actual thing… but art is always an experiment.  You learn as much or more from failed attempts at art than you do from things you are already good at.

So when it comes to art, it is a little like babies… there are no ugly babies or works of art… even though, in this one, I did end up looking like a mutant Popeye water devil.

Also, I can totally teach you how and where I am doing this kind of stuff if you are interested in doing something like it yourself. And this combining famous art with photos works not only on pictures of people. You can do it with pictures of cities or mountains or whatever. In fact, for some of these, that would work even better.
