All that from this…

All that from this…

Okay… I couldn’t resist doing one more version of the weird giraffe guy…

See, now the title of this series makes more sense.

And I am now under no obligation to tell you how I took the following photo to make all the other pictures in this post…

Or even what it is a photo of…

Because you should know all that already, right?

HA!

I just keep getting sidetracked by my weird giraffe thing…

Okay, this is the last silly background for my four-headed giraffe… before we start making it really weird…

Okay, obviously the title is a little confusing when this is the first post in the series… but it will be funny by the time I get to part 12 or so. Also, it will keep me from having to explain what me and the crack squirrels that live in my head are doing over and over again in each new post.

And what are we doing, exactly? Well, we are taking some photos I took of my two first glass blowing projects from that class I took, and doing some fun stuff with them in Lunapics, a free program that any of you can use on any photos you have on your computer.

So there is the photo I chose to use first.

And with a few simple mouse clicks, I made all these.

So there you have it. Glass objects that I made myself, photographed on a table that I stained myself, upon which I write and edit my books, and carve tikis, and paint pictures, and then digitally altered.

Doesn’t get much more multimedia than that, does it?

Oh, don’t hurt yourself trying to figure out what it is… just wait and see what kind of weird stuff I do with it.

I decided to do some more fancy backgrounds on my weird, four-headed giraffe thing… you know… before I start doing weird stuff with it.

These are the last photos I took of my first two glass projects.

Glass is awesome. You work it when it is the consistency of honey… molten-hot honey. But what other artistic medium can you look through and in to?

Every color you added is in there. So it every twist and swirl and bubble, as well as the imperfections.

Also, I babysat the twin boys today, as well as Miss Olivia. The twins have some kind of stomach bug. Stuff was shooting out both ends. I do not get paid enough for six-and-a- half hours of that. And I am going back to my friend’s house tomorrow and Thursday too… sigh…

Don’t let me forget that I am going to do some cool, artsy stuff to some of these glass project photos.

Man, I did a pretty good job, for a newbie.

Yeah, these are not the usual happy faces that my little buddies have when I am over there playing with them.

Poor little guys.

That is not a bad photo of a not bad piece of art.

I love the light bulb shape.

And I like the bubbles. One looks like planet Earth.

Awwww…

They really do look alike.

Okay, see you soon.
