The newest mock-up of just the front cover. I added some ships. And some flowers. But now, the flowers sort of clash with the patches I added to our princess’s jacket. Too much red, maybe? I did change the jacket more, to make it look less like a modern military jacket. I changed the cammo pattern, and got rid of the pockets. I also elongated the helmet. Oh, and I added wooden buttons to the jacket, which does help, I think.
I put the title over one of the ships. This isn’t the final layout, I just want some feedback. I will add some ships to the back cover. I can squish the title over to the right to get it off the ships. Or make the ships smaller. What do you think?

It’s hard to read “PR” in “Princess” because of the ship behind it. And you’ll need all the PR you can get.
sigh… but yes, that one is too cluttered.
Any idea how Gerry of Inchcock Today/ gerrynotingham.com is? It has been a time since he’s posted. Trying gerrynottingam.com, I get a message that the site can’t be reached, and early April is the latest post that comes up when I try Inchcock Today. Giving his many medical issues, I fear the worst or hospitalization at the best.
Oh man. We lose a lot of people.
I’m afraid so. I am hopeful Gerry will pop up at some point, but I’m not sure how we can find out his status. I did pull up Nottingham obituaries, and he wasn’t on it. (Gruesome!) Two other possibilities: Internet or wordPress problems, both of which he’s had recently, or medical issues leading to hospitalization. No doubt there are other possibilities, but those seem the big ones.
Some people just get bored and wander off.
I’ve been there. Sometimes it seems an extravegance to spend $300 a year for this blog so very few people can follow it regularly. Then I realize I do it as much to keep me mentally engaged as to make contact with others. Besides, those few who follow and comment are interesting folks, most of whom post on their own, ionyteresting blogs!

Too much red. Either pull it from the bushes or the uniform… And maybe do fewer ships too? And then you wouldn’t have to worry about moving or resizing the title?
