There is Jason, my soon-to-be son-in-law, looking very Louis the 14th.

And this isn’t where everybody will be staying, just the immediate family.

There is Grandma Carol, my wife’s mother. She isn’t even staying here, but she helped us bring a car load of stuff over.

Yeah, not too shabby.

It is still pretty empty. More people will be showing up tomorrow.

But I could get used to this… maybe after they make some of my books into movies…

Maybe…

There is Jessica and Jason together. The camera focused on the lamps instead of them, but I sort of like that picture anyway.

Okay, in a while, I will share some pictures of the outside of the house.

Wow! Can I come? 😜
We will all be too drunk to notice if you wait until later.
Good deal. I’ll bring the margaritas.
We have fourteen hundred dollars worth of booze… see earlier post… like a month and a half ago.
Hey man, my wedding invitation hasn’t arrived yet. Lost in the mail?
I blame Trump. He is now the commander in chief of the mail service.
He, in turn, blames Obama. For good measure, he also blames James Buchanan who was president when the Pony Express was started.
Didn’t Ben Franklin start the postal service?
He may well have but not the Pony Express. That started in 1860, quite a few years after old Ben shuffled off this mortal coil.
Right, I knew that. I am something of an amateur historian.
But I see your point. If ascribing blame, might as well go back to the source
To the guy who delivered the Marathon message?
Boo-yah!
…ooo000ooo…
Looks like this place may cost more to rent for one day than my whole house for a month.
She saved a lot of money in other ways… mostly by having all of us do most of the stuff by hand.
I guess you could blacksmith the wedding bands, gather and put up some desert flower arrangements, draw some wedding art, carve some presents for the guests, and then sing at their wedding. That could REALLY save a lot of money.
It isn’t far from the truth.
Wow…that place is stunning. Oh, and all the best for the wedding!
Thanks so much.
