I really do apologize for all the pictures of animals I have been doing lately.
The thing is… (and I really love this thing)… that I babysit Olivia, the daughter of some friends of ours, two or three times a week.
And I have to keep her occupied, because she is wicked smart… and lots of fun to hang around with.
And she loves animals, as do I…
And San Diego has a world-class zoo not too far from where I live…
And I have a zoo pass, so I get in free… I mean, the pass wasn’t free, but the more I use it, the better the bargain.
And I also have a camera with a pretty good zoom lens.
So, as long as I am there, I might as well take some pictures, right?
And as long as I took the pictures…
I might as well post them here, wouldn’t you agree?
I might get a little carried away.
I tend to do that.
So now, I thought I would mix it up by doing more photos in one post, rather than three or four posts… about the birds, I mean.
That way, we can get through this faster.
And get back to the other weird stuff I do around here.
But I do like birds.
They are always moving, and it is a challenge to get good photos.
And I like all the colors, too.
So, thanks for bearing with me.

Pouring My Art Out 
I love the animal pictures — and they are safe for work. I can’t always click your blog because of the titles. But zoo? Yup. And they make me smile. I like the weird stuff to, most of the time.
The funny thing is that even most of my really bad titles are harmless posts.
I kknow. But certain titles showing up? Problematic.
You just need to get your boss and all the human resources people to follow my blog too… HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to get signed waivers from every freekin’ animal!
Don’t ever apologise for pictures of animals or nature! They lighten up my day and everyone else’s. I skim past pictures of celebrities or sexualised images or other tackiness. SO – thank you!
But how do you feel about all the other weird stuff I do here? HA!
