I found them at Home Depot… just $5.99… (that’s in American dollars, and comes out to about two moose antlers and a beaver tail, Canadian)…
They are just the right size to fit in the palm of my hand, and they have actual plants growing out of the tops of their heads. What I really like about them is the Dia De Los Muertos theme, which you may recall from all those photos I shared a few months ago when my English relatives visited, and these will constantly remind me of that awesome week.
Oh, and we were at Home Depot… (a tool/home repair/appliance/supply company)… picking out the last items we need for the remodeling we are doing to our home. We have all the paint colors, ceiling fans, new faucets and shower heads, the counter tops and vanities and light fixtures picked out, and only need to decide on a nice back splash for the kitchen. This is tricky, because it has to tie in the counter top and the wall paint and the furniture and so on.

An ironic detail about my two new friends: Despite the Mexican theme, they were made in China… which just goes to show that, despite what Mr. Trump says, walls don’t do anything to slow down foreign workers from taking other people’s jobs… because China has a wall that really is great.
Anyway, maybe you can help me think of a name for these two.

what are you thinking for names?
I was hoping for suggestions…
gah! they are so adorable!!
I know, right?
Isn’t it the Great Wall of China that’s keeping all the Chinese jobs inside the country?
No… that’s the Chinese army… I am now working on the assumption that millions of Mexican migrant workers are streaming across the border to work in sweatshops in Shanghai…
