Even more animal adventures… part 6…

See… animals and babies really do love me… that bird is dancing on my head!

Feeding the lorikeets at the San Diego Wild Animal Park is fun.

They are cute little birds, and sometimes you can get a whole group of them on you.

Awww… pretty little bird…

Okay, that is not a pretty little human… but I do look happy to be spending some quality time with my younger daughter.

When the lorikeets are drinking the nectar from the little cup, it is a very enjoyable experience.

However, when one starts walking up your arm towards your ear, you suddenly realize that they have very sharp little beaks… and that your ear might just look like one of those dried apple slices they have in their food bowls… It also makes you think that maybe you should have shaved your neck and your face before you gave your 17-year-old the camera with the zoom lens…

But this is another good reason for wearing a hat…

Having a bird on your head makes you feel in touch with nature…

You feel like a more-or-less wild animal trusts you and thinks you are okay to hang around with…

But you will end up making this face… because you can’t help wondering what that little varmint is up to up there…

    Ha! The picture of the bird facing straight into the camera while perched on the top of your ball cap, is hilarious for some reason – I laughed out loud.It’s as if the bird is saying: This is my human what are you going to do about it?
