I had such an awesome time babysitting little Olivia, the daughter of some friends of ours.

It reminded me of when my daughters were that age… we used to do silly things with socks too… sniff… stupid allergies…

When a kid looks at you like that… eyes full of love and trust… oh man… sniff… seriously… I need to take some medicine for these allergies…

Parents… spend time reading with your kids… right from the start… it will make a difference…

Teach them to love books…

Oh, but before they actually learn how to read, you have to read the books to them.

We were practicing our walking… and she can’t even crawl yet… I mean, she can, but not much… she is skipping ahead.

When kids can walk around by themselves by holding onto furniture…

That is called ‘cruising’… it is easier if you stick your tongue out.

Okay, thanks for sharing these moments with me and my little buddy.

Now, back to the regularly scheduled weirdness…
