I ended up with that one, but to get there, I went through a few earlier stages…

Obviously, I could have just left that first one looking like that without doubling it again.

But I also considered just doubling it side to side… and even then, there were endless choices to make about exactly where I would reattach the two ends…

See, when I shortened it… attaching the two end closer together… it comes out completely different. This is why Photoshop is such a good place for me to send the crack squirrels in my head to keep them busy… but then… if I redouble this one…

That isn’t really like the first picture at all… is it???
