Ever since my hair started going gray… and bearing in mind that I was a teenager in the 70’s in the Bay Area and have a history of having very long hair… I have, since the Lord of the Rings movies came out, been threatening my wife and kids with the fact that as soon as my hair is gray enough, I am going to grow a full-on Gandalf beard…
Wait… now I look like one of the guys from Z Z Top… maybe I better go for the full-on Gandalf beard and long hair combo… and I might as well throw on the hat, clothes and magic staff… you know… just to complete the look…

I just used the picture I found first… I did notice it looked less gray depending on the background.

Gaaaaa…. do you have any idea what is in those beards? *shudder* Don’t do it, man… Besides, by the time you get your full ZZ grown out, you’ll be well past gray and right into dead. That’s a whole lotta whiskers, man! About 25 years’ growth, I reckon!

well it isn’t real yet…
HIs beard got really long and he just cut it back because he wants to swim more this summer. The water was hard on his beard.
