Have I ever mentioned that I love boats… in spite of the fact that one tried to kill me once… (and you should do a search for that post, which I think was called; what a way to go, because it is the best near-death experience story ever)…
We had been toying with the idea of renting kayaks in Scottsdale, but we had Gramma… my mom’s mother… with us, so we decided to rent a little motor boat instead.
It wasn’t fast, but I felt like Humphrey Bogart on the African Queen.
It was fun watching the kids drive the boat… which putted along at about two knots…
But you know my wife is protective of their privacy… so you get to look at pictures of me…
And I don’t know why I only took pictures of one part of the river bank.
But going on a boat ride in the desert was fun.

Yes, about 3000 km away, in North India .

I thought, “oh shit, Art’s stalking me” then I realized it wasn’t you, then I realized further that I shouldn’t think “oh shit” while I’m sitting in church, then I realized even further that you probably wouldn’t stalk me to begin with, so it was all for nothing, except for the fact that I guess I thought about you while I was in church.
