Tropical Storm Arthur: Hurricane Watch Issued for North Carolina
A hurricane watch was issued Wednesday for part of North Carolina as the first named tropical storm of the season gathered strength and threatened July Fourth celebrations along the East Coast.
The National Hurricane Center said Tropical Storm Arthur was slowly drifting north and becoming better organized, and forecasters said it could become a minor hurricane by Thursday. Arthur will likely affect Florida the most on Wednesday, with gusty winds and showers.

Really, I am very flattered to have a storm named after me. I was hoping for a statue… or maybe a town… but I guess this is okay. I mean, it makes sense in a way. I am a blow hard. And I am gathering strength going to the gym. I even tend to get more organized as I drift North… because it means I am going back to the Bay Area. But I want to go on record as saying that I have never threatened Fourth of July celebrations.

I think the most true thing you said was “I am a blowhard.” Hahahahahaha!
well… yeah
Somehow, I think naming a tropical storm for you is very fitting.
I know… sigh
Which came first, the blog or the blow?????
Is this a trick question???
Ha, ha! You are the first person I thought of when I watched the weather, of course. I thought to myself, that little rascal Arthur…he will do anything for attention! 🎇🎇
I am that shameless
It does say the storm is better organised though
I know…
Puff! Puff! That’s about right.
hey now
Suck or blow? We now have our answer.
Like you care which… ha
Oooooo… schmack!
yup
I’m confused. Is this North Carolina or Florida? And what about South Carolina and Georgia?
And BTW: have you encountered muscleheaded on my blog? He lives in NC and he looks like he could bench press a car. If I were you, I’d play nice with the East Coast. Go mess with Texas instead..
I do know that guy… but I go where the wind takes me…
You have become a force of nature man. Congratulations. At least it’s only a category one right now. But there is still hope for you…
I always end up blowing myself out fairly quickly…
You just want to visit all of your East Coast followers, we get it.
And trash their houses.
Just make sure to leave alone their computers and internet modems, so that they could still read your blog.
I am so glad I have you to do my thinking for me…
Ego that knows no bounds.
I ego, ergo I echo…
