And this one is actually sort of important. Not because I did a post on a blog. I am talking about the blog itself. It deals with some pretty heavy issues. Like sexual and physical and mental abuse. Sometimes it is hard for me to read. But it helps people who are dealing with these issues, and that says a lot.
Now why, you might find yourself asking, would a blog about serious issues ask a guy who does a silly little humor and art blog to do a guest post? And that is a pretty darn good question. The truth is I don’t remember if I asked to do it or if she asked me. I don’t offer any answers to ridding the world of abuse. I don’t pretend to be able to relate to the people who do these terrible things or to the people who have suffered through them. All I did was type up a few thoughts on the subject.
I really only have one goal from doing the link to this post. Maybe some of you have lived through some sort of abuse, or know someone who has. If so, I think you should check this blog out, or get them to go over there. It is a safe and supportive place where people can talk with other people who have similar stories. And that is sort of awesome.

It gets ignored too much, and abuse isn’t merely relegated to one sex, class, race, or creed. This is getting in the way of a healthier society.
It is just so hard to understand.
I asked you because I wanted a male perspective from someone who hasn’t been abused or isn’t an abuser…I love your post and thank you so much for being willing and for mentioning me on here!
