I have been thinking about it quite a bit, and I am going to take a break from posting chapters of the novel.

My master plan for world domination involved using my hit stats and your clever comments as leverage to get a publisher to take an interest in my book. The problem is that the numbers drop on the days I post a new chapter and the comments, although positive, are scant. I am just worried that this is going to make publishers think that people would rather look at funny Photoshop pictures of Conan and Dick Cheney and Mitt Romney than read the novel.

Maybe this break is a good thing in more than one way. It will give those of you who are enjoying the novel a chance to catch up. And it will allow me time to write other things in between the funny pictures. I  guess I can still impress publishers with my hits on the sheer variety of things I post about. Who knows.

On the other hand, if enough of you are saddened by this decision and want me to continue posting chapters, that in itself will be a good sign. It will also make me incredibly happy.
