Here are Mollie and Grandma sharing some quality reading time at my mom’s house…
Sorry about the way the flash reflected off something. That is why I can’t wait to clear my cell phone pictures and start using my new Father’s Day camera.
Mollie and I also went to visit my friend John Sullivan…
You may notice that John looks a little bit like a tree. That is because John died a few years ago. This is his memorial tree. His ashes are, for the most part, underneath that tree. I can’t remember if I told the story about how another friend and I scattered some of John’s ashes at all of our favorite hangouts. If I didn’t do that yet, remind me to sometime. It is a good story. In fact, remind me to tell you lots of stories about John, because we had some very interesting adventures together… some of which I can tell on this blog… and a lot of which I probably shouldn’t…

Comments have not been showing up in order on my end of WP, highly irregular.
They are always irregular.
I need a huge favor. Will you please tell me what kind of chair Mollie is lounging in? I have a decrepit self and am in desperate need of a chair like that one.
I hope we will read the John stories if you ever get back to writing.
My gramp is under a tree too. He planted the tree before he died, it was a sapling with chicken wire protecting it for the longest time. Now it’s a huge maple, we call it The Grampa Tree. It’s a good tradition.
How do you get them under if it is planted first?
I suppose you must “root” around; Gramp was ashes. He spent a lot of time on the dining room table before he was planted.
My dad spent a couple of years on the piano before we put him in the yard. No sense rushing in to these things, right?
We need time to get used to the idea, it’s a gradual process. I was so uneasy when Mum was at the crematory, I couldn’t wait to get her back here with me. I kept her at the bottom of the stairs so she would be centrally located and wouldn’t miss out on anything.
It is all about location.
Location, location, location!
I have taken your suggestion to do some writing. I just sat down and let my fingers and my heart do the talking. Now I have no idea where it will lead, but I do like the way it is breaking up the pictures. Hope you like it.
I’m going to go look to see what you’ve done. I’m sure I will like it, I’ll let you know what I think!
Yay.
I left a long comment.
You left it where exactly?
After Part 3. I read the whole thing, ate up every word, loved it. Read the comment.
okay
I don’t know what kind of chair. It is at my mom’s house. I will look next time, but I bet it is expensive. And good subtle prodding, by the way.
It looks expensive. Your mom has good taste and a nice house.
I got a little bit confused. I really liked the writing you did with the pictures. I was delighted by your 3 part post. There, I think I’m all squared away now.
I went a little post happy/crazy… for a few days…
Hey! Don’t forget to tell us more about John. 😀
Even I remembered I just said that… sigh…
