(It suddenly dawns on me how weird it is to call people by their blog names. I don’t even know what his blog name stands for… I always read it as ‘thought to forgive’, but that obviously isn’t it, unless I am a worse speller than I thought)…
Please check out his blog. He deserves an award for being inspiring on levels I could never hope to achieve. He has an artistic soul.
Now for the apology…
I have developed something of a reputation as a cynic when it comes to all these awards floating around. I have said that it is a Government-funded plot to keep the smartest people on the planet focusing their blogging skills on answering questions about ourselves… (which they store in huge databases under the Pentagon)… and figuring out who we should pass the awards on to without hurting anyone’s feelings. Why would they go to all this trouble? So we don’t get organized and solve all the worlds problems, that’s why. They would be out of work.
It doesn’t help matters that a few times I did really long posts, with links and everything, to fulfill my duties as an award receiver, only to have WordPress let me erase the whole thing near the end… (it is all part of the same plot, I am convinced)…
But there is no way I can ignore this. If I did any single thing in this blog that a person as smart as … the thought-ster… found to be inspirational, what kind of sad jerk would I be to ignore that?
(I will, however, do this acceptance post in three parts… at least… to minimize my ability to do stupid computer things)…
And I am not going to weasel out of passing this one on, even though it will be difficult to pick recipients.

Hey congrats! Seriously, you are funny, artistic, and deep. That makes you inspirational on lots of levels 🙂 I agree that the chain-letter like tasks associated with the awards can be kind of pain in the rump, but it’s kind of cool to pass the Blog Lovin’ along 🙂 Sappy… I know.
