I am not a quitter… Well, I am, but not this time!

I will not be beaten by this magic box. Or by WordPress and their hard to manage draft saving methodology.

My oldest daughter, Jessica, (Who is graduating college in two weeks… go Jessica… there are pictures of her in some earlier posts if you wonder how stunning she is)… told me that I should never… sorry, told me that I should try not to do more than one post a day… (No matter how many frightfully clever things I have to say)… She thinks that will alienate my readers. I am going to ignore that advice today… again…

(She also says that I have to grab your attention in the shortest time possible, because people are accustomed to sound and word bites. Now that I thinks about it, she doesn’t have nearly as much faith in you as I do, as if you all had the attention spans of gnats, but that is neither here nor there)…

I am going to do multiple posts today so that I can finish my acceptance responsibilities for my new award without having to worry about the whole thing going up in a puff of magic computer smoke… So please bear with me…

In the post below, I thanked ‘onwindydays’ for the award, and did a link.

Now I have to do the following…

  • Tell one unknown thing about me.
  • Link to seven of my previous posts.
  • Award seven other folks.

My blog is full of interesting things about me. I do not want to spoil the surprise, so here is one that I have never mentioned about myself;

I am wearing pants!

  1. Go Jessica! (thought I’d join your wave). 🙂

    Haha, well congrats. I love the 3 parter that you did. But at least it wasn’t deleted in it’s entirety this time!

    It is your blog, post what and when you want to. Quantity of viewers for me is not all important, I prefer the quality ones that read and comment

    I have more traffic on the days when I have multiple posts. Jessica is right about some readers but a lot depends on the audience you’re hoping to attract.

  5. I like your funny post title!

    Your daughter has a point, but then again there is Facebook and Twitter for that, I know I read WordPress to be able to read more from others and expand on my own ideas. Some stuff I used to do started on Facebook then I took it further into a post. Now I just do it on WordPress full stop. And I get far more reaction here than I do on Facebook from my friends.
