Opinions are not the same thing as facts… (or); Some things are true, and some things aren’t… a guide to some common misconceptions… part 3…

Vaccines work, and that is a fact. There are some strange ‘opinions’ floating around out there about vaccines. I think it started with confused overly-religious people who figured that if god wanted them or their child to die, they should just go along with it.

Then, you know, other crazy opinions – also known as paranoid delusions – began circulating. Now in the old days, these ‘rumors’ had to be passed from mouth to ear and so on. Now we have the internet. You can find something on the internet to support any opinion you have. The problem is that people read stuff on the internet and they think it is true.

Yes, there is some risk associated with vaccines. There is some risk associated with aspirin. Or taking a shower. But showers work, and so do vaccines. That is why Polio isn’t around anymore.

Think what you want, but even if the Covid vaccine does kill a handful of people, compare that to the number of people who have died of the actual virus.

Oh, and one more thing. Nobody is putting trackers in the vaccines. They already have them. In your phone. And your computer. They can watch you from satellites. You tell all your friends where you are going and where you have been on Facebook.

If they wanted to implant trackers, they would put them in Big Macs.

  1. List of X says:

I don’t understand why all those people who say things like “if God wants me and my kids to die, there’s nothing I could do” can’t just chill and let God do his thing when it comes to socialism and guns – like, if God wants Biden to get elected, build socialism and confiscate all guns, who are you to stop Him?

Good points. Of the risky things we do everyday – like driving – there are so many compared to getting a vaccine. This stuff saves lives, but the irrational undercurrent in this world, stemmed no doubt from our limbic brains, is strong these days. Like you say, it can spread so easily, and it’s just so bad… I hope people just pause to think that everything they hear isn’t necessarily true.
