Well, I can’t say I blame you for saying that, but if I get rid of the crack squirrels, I would be like everybody else. I can’t risk it. Oh, and I call that one… wait for it… ‘the love snake.’ I know, it sounds dirty, but there is a heart in the middle.
I’m really sorry, but I just love the mirror image thing.
I like deciding where to make the cut for sticking them back together after flipping the new, copied part. I love seeing how they come out. Sometimes I move the line just a little and start over, to make it a little more interesting.
I am going to call that one ‘diamond back’, even though that isn’t a diamondback rattlesnake. That should be a logo.
I like that one.
But the same snake can be mirrored in so many ways.
Snake scales just work with this.
I cut the eye in two for that one.
But not for that one, not exactly.
I guess if that first one is a love snake, this one, eating a frog, is a hate snake.
I thought about doing another mirror on both of these, making them symmetrical in all directions, but that would have been a lot of doomed frogs.
You know, there are probably creatures that look like these things deep in the jungle of the world’s tropical environments. And there are probably creatures like you and me, Art, in many parts of the world. They just don’t have computers!
I don’t know which part of that scares me more.
What ?
