So, I went out walking in the Arizona desert, just to prove that I really am here. There are no wild flowers or cactus flowers or any kind of flowers blooming.
But there is still a kind of majestic beauty to be found.
And there are millions of these Saguaro cacti… which, ironically, are considered a threatened species.
A Saguaro skeleton. I think what happened is that landscapers dug up so many of these to put in gardens and other places, that it tipped some sort of environmental balance.
And of course they take the healthiest ones.
