I am sure that none of you need any advice on meeting the canine variety of mammal. So I will just say that I have never met a Bernese Mountain Dog that wasn’t sweet and smart and full of love. Also, they don’t drool nearly as much as Saint Bernards do.

Ooh. Burners are beautiful and sweet dogs. We had one, Charlie, when our son was 1-7. BEST DOG to have with kids.
That is a Bernese Mountain dog… but from the same country.
I know. My dog Charlie was a Bernese Mtn dog — called Berners (spell check no likeee). Charlie was born in NY state and moved with us to Switzerland.
oh… right… I thought you thought it was a Saint Bernard… Burners for Bernard… my bad
EVERYBODY asked us if he was a St. Bernard. It was, in fact, the first question we got when we arrived in Switzerland …. where they are from!
And Spell check changed berner to burner. Because it likes to mess with both of us.
