There will be more parts to eyes? Yay.
oh yeah… anything worth doing is worth overdoing…
Ewww.
why?
Detached eyes are creepy.
think of them as joyfully unencumbered…
Eye’se The B’y that builds the boat and
Eye’se The B’y that sails her and
Eye’se The B’y that catches the fish and
Brings ’em home to Liza
Ha ha! What a great song! And yeah, Arthur, your thing’s good too…
yes… my thing has received many compliments over the years…
it pops up in a lot of your posts…
yeah it does…
and i’ve posted…
wheeeeee
that never gets old… how many English accents do you have exactly?
Lots, it’s having the time to record them! And the technology; the laptop I used for those is sadly no more…
thus quoth the raven…
Ok, I’ll repost ‘the pigeon’ too…
ha
Great Big Sea is a very popular band in Canada and that song is very old Newfie (Newfoundland) song.Fiddle music is common there and Saturday nights were community dance nights everywhere… I used to haul over there and have been to those communities and so much of the song is true. For instance they consider Bonavista a big city when it is 3,500 and remote. I hauled a load off Fogo one day and the ferry could only load my truck on one side but it was so small that the back of the truck hung over the water and the locals had to load a half dozen cars on the other side of the ferry for ballast or it would have tipped over..
That would have been awkward…
Those crazy newfies; I have relatives in Canada and they’re never short of a joke about them. And I think population size is definitely a north American continent thing; 3500 people means nothing to me: I remember (and I don’t want to name drop…but I will) when Ed Shames, of 101st band of brothers fame, was over here making me a vodka martini (he wasn’t over here just for that) he asked what the population size of our village was and none of us had even a clue…true story.
I have never met a village I didn’t like… also, they help raise children… so…
Except those bad villages that eat the children…
like in Canada?
Like in Canada…
They are a strange and frigid people, our neighbors to the North…
That they are; I’ve always said you guys are so much saner.
well… when you put it that way…
Too cool. I knew Bonavista was small but had to look up the population for purposes of the story. 😀
Ha! I like your attention to detail!
nobody pays attention to detail like he does…
a village is almost more an attitude… and some nice architecture… more than it is a size thing.
aye aye
