He was totally jealous…

He was actually pacing back and forth at the top of the enclosure, smelling the fence. It turns out that he has a brother, and the zoo has been separating them for part of the day, to get used to the fact that they will soon be kept apart permanently.

His brother was on the other side of the fence, also pacing and sniffing… it was sad… but cute…

And speaking of cute…

It is a rare treat to see this cat outside during the day.

It is some kind of jungle fishing cat, but I can’t remember where it is from. It looks like a house cat, but it is larger by a third… wait… did I just do math?

Even the tiger is amazed…

Oh yeah… tiger face!!!

ROAR! She does that so well. 🙂
It is almost scary
But can she do the tiger feet?
I never asked

(Tiger Feet by Mud)
Most tiger footprints are found in mud…
You only did one third of math, don’t worry.

Are you single handedly keeping the san Diego zoo running?
No, but we got zoo passes for the whole year… and Olivia gets in free… and she loves the zoo… and it wears her out for nap time.
I would love to visit the zoo with you…and then have you tuck me in for a nap…
we could work something out…
