As Paul notes, we got three parties. Actually, we have a lot of parties, because we are just fun.
Ain’t no party like a Canandadadaidian party! Yo…
Yep pizza with Canadian bacon, drinking Canadian Beer; with maple syrup cookies for desert. Yum!
I love those maple candies…
That’s right yo.
Now there’s an interesting thought. I didn’t think about that but the vast majority of countries have three or more parties.
yeah… but do they have one that only exists to keep anything from getting done, and is giving birth to an abomination?
Well kind of – we have the Bloc Quebecois which is a federal party dedicate to breaking up Canada (which would lose them their jobs – odd). They actually got enough votes to be the official opposition once (for a while).
The world needs more politicians trying to put themselves out of work…
Ha! The whole ludicrousness of the situation (vote for a federal representative who wants to dismantle the country) seemed to have sunk in and the Bloc Quebecois went, in the following election, from official opposition to 4 seats currently in the House of Commons (like your congress). ha!
oh boy
My point being that the voters will eventually see the reality, unfortunately sometimes not until after they have voted.
So… after they pull the trigger…
