Okay, I admit it. When you look at the main street in my home town, it looks a little like Mayberry RFD.

I mean, seriously, that is all there is to the business district.

The main difference is that in Mayberry, you can’t see the Golden Gate bridge in the distance.

Growing up in a small town is awesome… it is even more awesome when it is just a short drive to world-class dining and culture.

I was very lucky to grow up where I did.

I never get sick of going home again.

I never stop missing the Bay Area.

That’s not even worth stopping for?
Do they have those baby Millar’s in the store?
cheers chris
I doubt they do
You did!
I always do
“I never get sick of going home again.”
But surely you must know “You can never go home again.” Some dude said that; I didn’t (Thomas Wolfe) did, I think.
I almost mentioned that quote… but I’m not really sure what it means.
Well, I know exactly what it means.
point taken
What does it mean?

I most likely can relate.
Honey Grove, Texas.
A small town of no significance.
← Hello, random blog person whom I do not know, skimming down this topic wall page… or whatever it is that WordPress calls these places where our new blog posts go when we add tags like ‘humor’ to them… you should follow me, and I have a few very good reasons for telling you this…
And, I like this quote.
And I have followed you for over on year.
And I appreciate it.
Thanks… I do shameless quite well.
Man… those snapping turtles…
I only spent a couple of years there and I still miss it.
It gets under your skin… as I have said before, everyplace is the center of a universe, but the Bay Area is the center of many universes.
