So yeah, we went camping down by the bay…
We were staying in my mother-in-law’s new RV, and we were parked right beside my wife’s aunt and uncle… so naturally, their dog, Riley, was there too. Riley, the one on the right, is our dog… Shiloh’s… best friend.
My younger daughter, Mollie, was amazed at the size of the grapes grandma brought. We had a little argument over whether, as her science teacher says, that GMO foods are completely safe to eat, or that, as I believe, the huge food corporations are just using all of us as long-term test subjects to see if eating them is safe over the long haul.
When we walked over to check out the big power boat races, I took a picture of that airplane, because I was having fun with the zoom lens.
Is that an ancient, sunken, Roman road in Mission Bay in San Diego???
No, it isn’t. It is an old retaining wall made from sandbags filled with cement, that fell over into the water… but it does sort of look like ancient ruins in the Adriatic somewhere, doesn’t it?
Mollie took that picture of a shore bird.
I have just a few more of the pictures I took of the thunder boat races. I like that one, because that big, inflatable marker buoy looks kind of like a shark fin…
And then, as I looked closer at the photos, I noticed that red stain in the water in the left foreground… and I started to freak out a little.
And then I saw it in another picture, on the right this time. Eventually I figured out that some guy wearing a red trucker’s hat was standing on the shore in front of me, and the zoom lens was blurring the very tip of his hat to the point where it made that effect… but it is sort of cool anyway.

i really like grapes
They supposedly pick up a lot of the pesticide used on them… but me too.
So it was a buoy attack, really…
a hat attack…
there was a fashion victim… ha
Such happy looking dogs!
all dogs near me look that happy!
