So how… and why… did I change this…
The why is easy. I needed one more picture of Gadzookes, my little wizard from the new children’s book I am working on, and that wizard right up there is indeed the same wizard in the picture above, believe it or not. The picture on top I copied from the middle of an image I already used. Then, I used my own wizard magic… also known as Photoshop… to do a few things… I used a big paintbrush with white paint to remove most of the unwanted parts…
Then, I zoomed way in and used a very small brush to remove the last unwanted bits…
Now it gets tricky. I had to select his left arm, copy it, paste it, and rotate it…
I also slimmed him down by shaving off some of the left side… his right side…
Oh, and I also selected the whole bottom half of his beard and copied, pasted and rotated it… that is not as easy as it sounds, by the way. Then, I just changed his eyes shape… and eyebrows… and some other details like the beard and mouth shape… and then darkened the color of his robe and lightened the color of his… uh… whatever you call that long nightshirt that wizards wear… and there you go…
One brand-new, recycled wizard. I will try to remember to show you the finished picture with the other elements and the background… when I finish it.

Seems like after all that manipulating he’d at least be happy
sigh
You are, indeed, a wizard.
yay… thanks
