… from the children’s book I am getting ready to publish.
But that is the last one. I can’t give all the milk away for free or nobody will buy the cow… or monkey, as the case may be.
And hey, did I mention that my sweet younger daughter came up with an awesome idea as part of her silver award project for Girl Scouts? She got a bunch of brightly colored water bottles and filled them with little toys, stickers, pencils, glow sticks and other fun things, and stuck in a birthday card. Then she donated them to a homeless shelter so they can give them out to little homeless kids on their birthdays.
But that isn’t all. She has been going around to preschools and church groups and other Girl Scout troops and showing them how to make the birthday bottles, and telling them to teach other people how to do it. So this idea might just spread out across the country.
How awesome are my kids?

So wonderful.
Oh stop…
Very; even though the question was rhetorical.
It might even have been theoretical.
Not if in practice they are actually awesome…as you’ve just proven.
This is now officially over my head…
You’ve confused yourself again.
You helped.
You’re welcome.
I am, aren’t I?
You have smart, kind, children and pretty too- how lucky are you?!
Very!
It’s truly wonderful to see children with empathy and compassion!
It’s sort of funny, but you can teach those to kids but it doesn’t always stick, and some kids just have it without it ever being taught to them.
Very awesome…they were raised by you though.
I was a stay at home dad… before it became cool… ha.
Love the pic and you must be so proud!
It is sort of cool.
It’s way cool!
Okay, yeah it is.
Pretty darn awesome! You done good 🙂
Thanks.
