I have a crazy idea… hey… stop laughing…
So I thought it might be fun to do a series of posts showing how I can take a simple sketch of an alien and turn it, step by step, into a more finished picture that I can use in part three of the novel when this character appears.
Here is the original drawing as I did it when I was creating the character…
It was just a rough outline to remind me that she has four arms… two long and two short… and wings and a flat, beaver-like tail. You can still see the lines from the note book I was writing the story in. Yes, I write it out by hand for a few pages and then type it up. It just works for me.
Here is Fawnya after just a few minutes work…
All I have done so far is clean up the head a little and do some work on the two long wing arms.

Ending anything too quickly is dangerous. That is why poops are tapered at the ends… so your a**hole doesn’t slam shut…
