Tomorrow I will tell you all about our exciting adventure helping Jessica move to another state. To get you in the mood, I have just a few random pictures from our trip…
Here I am trying to fit in. Those huge saguaro cacti are everywhere. They even plant them all over the city. In California, we have those wiggley dancing guys you blow air into so they dance and advertise your business…
In Scottsdale, they just don’t need them…
And in the parking lot at the condos where Jessica and her boyfriend moved, I found one naughty cactus that I just had to share a picture of… even though this is a family show…

Second-to-the-last cactus looks like a cow standing and looking directly at the camera! Udderly delightful!
A lot of them look like something else…
yes family show! lol
Firstly…this IS a family show…and you should be ashamed.
Secondly….Ouch…I wonder if that hurts?
Thirdly…*snort* *snort*
Ha! You had me worried for a minute there.
You are blending in perfectly lol
I am like a ninja!
I’d love some of those in my garden !!!! Alas they won’t survive our Winter weather !
They seem to be quite delicate. A lot of them were in sort of sad shape.
I think they had a harsh Winter too this year, didn’t they ?
I have no idea. I think I heard something about a lot of rain.
I think they thev even had snow and frost.
I will have to ask about that.
I would say, it’s only the next state along or something isn’t it? Excuse my bad geography if not. But then again, your states are so vast it’s probably the distance between London and Morocco
Yes it is, and because California is long and thin, she lives closer than my Mom does in the Bay Area, half way up California. It is about a six hour drive with no traffic. But still…
There’s a gardener in the area with a naughty mind!
I think it just grew that way.
Or someone cultivated it that way!
Gardeners with too much spare time… hmmmmmmmm.
