The gene pool…

Many of you who have been around for a while remember seeing pictures of my two lovely daughters.

Perhaps you remember me saying that they look a lot like me.

How then, you might ask, can they be lovely?

I can’t explain genetics, but sometimes it just works out…

See what I mean? That is Jessica on the top, me in the middle… (during the dreaded home-haircut years)… and Mollie on the bottom.

We were all about 7 or 8 years old when these pictures were taken Obviously, they were not all taken on the same day.

Somehow, my kids managed to take my face and make it beautiful, something I have been trying to do unsuccessfully for years.

  1. damn….you should have been a girl…haha

  2. I can’t say the number of times I’ve seen an attractive woman suddenly standing next to her dad and look just like him. It is amazing how a creature so feminine can look so much like one so masculine, and yet I remain intrigued . . . OK, I’ll stop there.

Very cool! I’m definitely one of those “family ressemblance” analyzers…and I do believe those girls are yours.

And ummmm…at what age am I supposed to STOP cutting my son’s hair? Gulp.
