What is it? A Florida scrub jay? It looks like one, sort of, but I can’t see enough of what clinches the ID. Anyway, if so, it’s a rarity in its small Florida range, if that’s what it is.
Nope, California scrub jay. Common as bed bugs.
New to me! Of course, I have very little experience birding in California – just the area around Smith River where I have family, north of Crescent City.
I do look for birds whenever I travel, but having them come to me is nice.
That’s one fierce bird lol
I mean, for a non predatory bird yeah. They got attitude.
