Hey now… simmer down…

I am at work when the sun goes down.

I got my fancy new iPhone.

There is a big, grassy valley behind one of the buildings where I work.

And San Diego has pretty nice sunsets.

So guess what…

You have to look at sunsets now and then.

I know, life is rough.

For example, I have to walk like thirty yards to take these pictures.

And I have to remember to go outside near sunset.

So we are all in this together.

But if we work together, and hang tough…

I think we can get through this.

Oh yeah.

Now go catch your breath.

I am a student of a student of Ansel Adams. Frank Agar was my instructor. He suggested if anyone in the class liked sunset photos to go get as many rolls of film as they can afford and take sunset pictures until the film was all used up. Then sit and look at all your sunset photos.
Separate the ones that have a subject besides the sun and clouds.
ie. If you’re going to take a sunset photograph try to catch something else in the photo, a subject, like A sailboat, migrating birds, a deer or someone at the end of the dock. Cool !
Throw the rest of them into the trash bin. Or Hit DELETE ! Get over it…!
Now you can go find something worthwhile to take a photograph of.
Jiminy Crickets…!
HA! I can’t tell if you like my sunset pictures or not, but I have so many that I have a section for it in my cloud search thingy.
Can never go wrong with sunsets and sunrises! And I’m hanging right along with you, brother! I guess, in a sense, you could say we’re HUNG: handsome, understanding, nice guys! 🙂
Can’t argue with any of that,
Hey, it’s Western thing! As a Westerner, I say shoot on and post them all! We have the best sunsets (and sunrises) of anywhere and the biggest skies.
You know what they say about people with big sky…
