In this post, I am using digital filters with slightly darker names… like: ‘night’ and ‘smoke’ and ‘grey’ and stuff like that there.
It is funny how easy it is to take a cheerful watercolor painting of two wizards holding hands in front of a lovely sunset, and make it look ominous with just one click.
But isn’t that the true soul of art? One can express so many emotions, capture so many moods.
And still, the viewer might see and feel something else entirely.
Maybe art is more in our minds than in our eyes.
And perhaps, just under the surface of every reality is a darker, more sinister reality.
Whoa… this post took a dark turn… that’s cast rather a pall of gloom over the evening, hasn’t it? Once again, to lighten the mood, the original image from my book: The Lonely Little Wizard…
On the other hand, is there a darker, sadder word than ‘lonely’?
Cool, especially no.1 painting.
Thanks.
